SIV · Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 2, 2026
In short
SIV stores only what it needs to work, never sells or shares data, shows no ads and does no profiling.
What it stores
Server settings: what administrators choose in the dashboard (channels, roles, texts, background image).
Levels: for each member, Discord ID, experience points, message count and voice minutes. Message content is not stored.
Moderation: cases (warnings, timeouts, kicks, bans) with user and moderator ID and name, reason, duration and date.
Reminders, events, playlists and voice rooms: the text you write, who joins and the saved tracks.
Bug reports and suggestions (/bug, /suggest): the text you send, your ID and name, the server you write from and your language.
Dashboard login: your Discord account's ID, name and avatar. The bot only asks for the "identify" permission: it can't see your email or your servers.
What it reads without storing
For chat commands and experience points the bot reads messages in channels it can see, but doesn't keep them. If a server enables logs, deleted or edited messages are copied to that server's log channel (chosen by its administrators), not to an archive of the bot.
Third-party services
Discord (where the bot runs); the hosting provider that runs the bot and stores the data; YouTube, Spotify, SoundCloud and similar when you search for music (they receive the search, not your data); GamerPower for the free games list (it receives no user data).
How long
Dashboard sessions: 7 days. Events: until 2 days after they start. Reminders: until delivered. Voice rooms: while they exist. Levels, settings and moderation cases: while the server uses the bot or until deletion is requested (oldest moderation cases are removed beyond 5000). Reports: at most the 2000 most recent.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data by writing to the bot's /bug command. Server administrators can reset levels from the dashboard. If you live in the European Union you have the rights granted by the GDPR, including filing a complaint with your data protection authority.
Security
Data is accessible only to the bot and its developer. Dashboard sessions are stored hashed, and everyone sees only the servers they manage.
Children
SIV follows Discord's age requirements and does not knowingly collect data from people who can't use Discord.
Changes and contact
This policy may change; the date at the top shows the last update. For any question: the bot's /bug command.
